Extreme Certified Professional EXAM
Online session
Extreme Certified Professional exam for Extreme Switching technology.
Extreme Certified Professional exam for Extreme Switching technology.
Extreme Certified Professional exam for Extreme Campus Fabric technology.
Extreme Certified Professional exam for Extreme Cloud IQ Controller technology.
Extreme Certified Professional exam for Extreme Control technology.
Students will be introduced to Extreme Network’s network access control solution, ExtremeControl. Students will learn methods to properly install and configure their ExtremeControl engines. Use cases and deployments for ExtremeControl within different network models are also discussed. The primary ExtremeControl use case covered in this course is visibility of end-systems with Passive and Pass-Through Modes. Components of authentication to include proxying RADIUS are discussed. Students will have these concepts reinforced with hands-on lab experience installing ExtremeControl into a preconfigured network.
Students will learn to properly manage their ExtremeControl engine. Students will also deep dive into the ExtremeControl rules engine and learn to manipulate network end-systems with authorization. Extreme Policy components and structure will be looked at, as well as integration with ExtremeControl. For students without Extreme Policy capable devices, ExtremeControl policy mappings will be examined to maximize ExtremeControl’s capabilities throughout a multi-vender network. ExtremeControl integration with ExtremeAnalytics and ExtremeCloud™ IQ will also be demonstrated. Students will have these concepts reinforced with hands-on lab experience managing ExtremeControl in a preconfigured network.
Students will learn to configure the ExtremeControl Portal to include Portal Administration, Guest Registration, and Authenticated Registration. Students will also be introduced to ExtremeControl Workflows built into ExtremeCloud™ IQ - Site Engine and well as ExtremeControl Notifications for automations. ExtremeControl integration with Extreme Connect and introduction to ExtremeControl APIs is also examined. Students will have these concepts reinforced with hands-on lab experience managing ExtremeControl in a preconfigured network.
Students will learn troubleshooting methodology as well as the troubleshooting toolkit a security engineer and ExtremeControl administrator can use. This knowledge will be reinforced through actual hands-on experience with networking equipment in a lab environment, where students will perform real world tasks.
Extreme Certified Professional exam for Extreme Wireless Cloud technology.
This course will enable you to install and configure an ExtremeCloud SD-WAN solution including the major Site types: Bridge mode, Router mode, Hybrid mode and Remote Visibility Control (RVC) Site. You will gain an understanding of the concepts and functionality of the SD-WAN architecture through comprehensive lectures and discussions. By performing the labs, you will experience onboarding the appliances with ExtremeCloud SD-WAN Orchestrator and validating network application flow.
This course relies upon the successful completion of the ExtremeCloud SD-WAN Installation and Configuration course and related labs. You will build on this SD-WAN configuration
to analyze the WAN application traffic flows and their distribution among major site types: Bridge mode, Router mode, Hybrid mode and Remote Visibility & Control (RVC). This lab intensive course will show you how best to visualize applications within and across the network and then classify and control their flows in a meaningful way. This will include defining new applications for the application dictionary and then implementing an SD-WAN policy using new and existing application groups (AGs) and QoS profiles. With a focus on supporting day-to-day operations, you’ll develop competencies in using the ExtremeCloud SD-WAN Orchestrator dashboards to recognize and control WAN application flows and generate reports to further visualize your findings.
To deploy Extreme Networks’ Fabric Connect is the goal of the course. Students experience the deployment process from the beginning to completion learning all the essential steps and technologies. Lectures are supported equally with hands-on experience on VSPs, Universal Hardware 5520, ERS, and EXOS. Successful completion results in an operational SPBM fabric with L2VSN, L3VsN, IP Shortcuts, Fabric Attach and VIST Core Switch Pair.
